The MAGTEC M4K is a keyed security solution designed for use in the construction and heavy equipment industries.  The unique construction of the Abloy locks virtually eliminates the chances of two keys being unintentionally keyed alike.  With over nine million key combinations, buyers can have confidence that they have the only set of keys for their particular vehicle.

The M4K integrates seamlessly with OEM key systems and can operate in both 12 Volt and 24 Volt environments, up to 30 Amps.  The pick proof master cylinder leads down to an (optional) steel enclosed wiring harness.  This design prevents theft through lock picking and hot wiring, essentially defeating the most common methods of heavy equipment thefts.

The MAGTEC M4K is also available with the ‘Run Option’.  Run Option allows the vehicle to be left running (idling, in park) but remain fully secured from theft.  Attempts to engage the engine or gearbox result in a prompt shutdown, securing your equipment from being stolen.

The M4K may qualify insurance credits as an onboard security product (please discuss with your insurance provider) and can help limit worksite accidents caused by unauthorized vehicle operation.
